Mike Shurlin is a respected & experienced business leader within Banking & Payments, with 30 years international expertise. He has a track record of leading Transaction Banking, Cards, Payments, Mortgages & Unsecured Lending Businesses across APJ & Europe.
Mike Shurlin has recently returned to banking and is leading ANZ's Cards and Consumer Finance Division in Australia. Before that, He was CEO of FLEETCOR's Aus & NZ businesses. There he had responsibility for the end to end success of the business. Previously he held a range of senior roles including Director of Financial Solutions for Dell Computers in APJ, where he provided Banking clients with technology, consulting & managed services solutions to improve their businesses and working as an independent consultant with banks across Aus & NZ, UK & Ireland & Israel to advise them on improving their Banking, Cards, Digital & Payments businesses.
Mike Shurlin ran the Everyday Banking, Cards & Personal Loan Businesses for many years for NAB in Aus & NZ. Earlier, He worked at Citi, where he re-launched & subsequently sold the Consumer Finance Business in Italy. Previously Michael was Sales Director for Citi's start up in Russia for 4 years and worked for HSBC in the UK in several senior roles.
He is recognised as an expert in Cards, Unsecured Lending, Retail Banking & Payments. He has a reputation for being a catalyst for business & cultural change, building winning teams and developing talent. He is highly commercial & has consistently delivered results. Mike Shurlin is an accomplished CEO, with deep experience at C level.
