Michael G. Levine began his professional career in investment banking and, after earning an MBA from Wharton, transitioned to commercial banking, where he quickly ascended to become head of M&A for a major New York money center bank while still in his 20s. He then spent seven years as part of a management team that built a $2 billion telecom/technology business. In 2007, Michael G. Levine became CFO of a publicly-traded software/technology company, which he helped take private via a management buyout in 2009, and managed a successful exit in 2010, retaining certain technologies for launching a new business. He assumed leadership of a DMC Capital Funding portfolio company in October 2010, focusing on the IOT/M2M, LBS, and GPS tracking markets. In October 2011, Michael G. Levine joined Payoneer, a global B2B payments business, as CFO. Under his financial leadership, Payoneer went public in June 2021 with an equity value exceeding $3 billion. The company processes over $60 billion in annual volume and is traded on Nasdaq under the ticker PAYO. In June 2023, Michael joined Fireblocks, a leading Enterprise SaaS company that offers a suite of secure applications for managing digital asset operations and a development platform for building blockchain-based businesses. Fireblocks' Series E round in 2022 was based on an $8 billion valuation, with investors including Stripes, Paradigm, Tenaya, Sequoia, BNY Mellon, and others. Michael G. Levine is a seasoned C-level executive with a strong strategic and operational background, capable of building infrastructure to scale growth. He has successfully developed and executed strategies to grow companies with annual revenues ranging from $5 million to $2 billion. Michael G. Levine ’s work history includes investment banking, commercial banking, telecom, healthcare technology, and global payments. Michael received his undergraduate degree from the University of Buffalo and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
