About Matthew Duke

Duke is a seasoned Entrepreneur, Business Leader, Actuary & Analytics Professional with expertise in strategy execution, facilitating organizational change and leading global teams while solving business challenges through analytical insight. He is adept at executing small to multi-million dollar initiatives across the business in an agile fashion. He joined Xceedance in September 2020 as SVP/Chief Actuary & Head of Global Actuarial Services to develop and launch an Actuarial Services capability that complements Xceedance's technology-centric managed services to insurance organizations worldwide. Outside of the corporate setting, Duke has been an active member of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS), the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), the International Association of Black Actuaries (IABA) and the Caribbean Actuarial Association (CAA). After receiving IABA Outstanding Service Award as well as the Affiliate of the year award in 2009 for organizing executive speaker series, high school visits, networking events and building corporate partnerships, Duke went on to support the further development of future actuaries and their educators as Co-Chair of the Education Committee and when he served on the IABA Board of Directors. As he strongly believes that children are our future, Duke continually involves himself in volunteerism and other engagements that promotes education and resources for children as well as enabling parents and the businesses that supports them.
