About Matt Weigand

Matt Weigand joined in 2013 and focuses on enterprise software, consumer internet, and security businesses. Prior to Accel, he worked with William Blair’s technology investment banking group. Matt Weigand is from Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Miami University. He focuses on enterprise software, consumer internet and security businesses. He represents Accel on the Board of Snyk, Cognite, Veriff and Drivewealth and is actively involved with Accel’s investments in SaltPay, Axonius, Cornershop, G2, MessageBird, Xero, and GoFundMe. Prior to joining Accel, Matt Weigand worked with William Blair’s technology investment banking group. These projects included buy-side and sell-side transactions, public and private financings, and other strategic initiatives. Matt previously worked for Deloitte in its audit and enterprise risk services group. He graduated magna cum laude and holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from Miami University.
