About Matt Hill

After over 15 years as a business leader, marketer and educator I finally decided to act on my passion for the environment and started One Tree Planted in 2014. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that plants trees around the world, having planted 10 million trees in 2020 alone. I've built an amazing team around me and always strive to keep things simple, staying focused on the big picture of empowering anyone to make a positive impact. Whether it's a student planting one tree because they enjoy the outdoors or a company planting thousands to help support global sustainability efforts, it all adds up to more healthy forests, meaningful work, and knowing that you did the right thing.
