About Mateu Batle

Mateu Batle is the CEO and co-founder of Rextie, a fintech startup which creates a revolution in the currency exchange service, with high impact for SME and retail segments. Mateu, fascinated by computers from early age, started to program with 11 years old and sold his first applications by the age of 16. He got his degree in Computer Science in the UIB (University of Balearic Islands, Spain). Started hacking with real time video systems, lived the dot com bubble from a startup POV, was lead programmer in a videogame startup, and collaborated in spreading the adoption in open source software working in projects in multiple countries like USA, UK, Germany and Spain. Today his passion is to use technology to create a revolution in the financial sector.
