Marc Hendriks, Currently part of the founding team of GreenGrowth Investments, an exciting new venture aimed at reshaping sustainable investing. Marc Hendriks is an experienced investment practitioner, specialising in bespoke asset allocation, risk assessment, and portfolio construction for institutional investors, charities, endowments, and family offices. His expertise includes selecting external managers across global public markets, private debt and equity, real assets, and passive strategies. As an early advocate of ESG and impact investing, he has seamlessly integrated these approaches into the investment process, building and mentoring teams while collaborating with investment committees and trustees.
With deep knowledge of the asset management industry and an extensive professional network, he combines economic, political, and financial analysis to enhance portfolio management and risk assessment. A skilled communicator and seasoned public speaker, he has authored numerous articles on finance.
Marc Hendriks is also an elected member of the Conference of Business Economists in the US and a Chartered Fellow of the CISI in the UK.
Marc Hendriks has extensive experience in the field of investment and economics. Prior to this, they were the Outsourced CIO at Woodside Holdings Investment Management from June 2019 to May 2020.
Before joining Woodside Holdings, He held the role of Chief Investment Officer at Material Capital from April 2018 to March 2019. Marc Hendriks also worked as the Global Strategist at Sandaire from December 2016 to April 2018, and as the Chief Investment Officer at Sandaire from February 2009 to December 2016.
He has further experience as the Chief Investment Officer at Thomas Miller Investment from May 2003 to December 2008. Marc Hendriks also served as the Chief Economist & Head of Strategy at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB from February 2000 to October 2002.
Additionally, Marc Hendriks worked as the Chief Economist & Strategist at Virtuous Circle Investment Management from November 1998 to October 1999. Marc Hendriks also held the position of Head of Economic Research at Swiss Bank Corp from May 1993 to September 1998, and as the Group Chief Economist at Barings from May 1983 to May 1993.
He began their career as an International Economist at Lloyds Bank International from October 1981 to May 1983.
From 1978 to 1981, Marc Hendriks attended the University of Surrey. Marc Hendriks earned a 2.1 degree in Economics, Sociology, and Econometrics.
