About Luke Brereton

I have held a wide range of roles within Financial Markets, within both the sell side and technology organisations. I joined Citi from RBS (formerly ABN Amro), where I held the role of relationship manager, responsible for managing and growing several key accounts within the asset manager client base, and most recently heading up the sales effort for OTC Derivatives Client Clearing. Prior to joining ABN Amro I was responsible for the creation and subsequent growth of an entirely new business within Front Capital Systems; the Front Arena Back Office. I started my career with JP Morgan, as part of their graduate programme, here I worked in the emerging markets front office, and as a business analyst on their derivatives outsource solution, known as Acordia. I hold a PhD in Physics from Bristol University. Specialties: The components of my professional experience that I have enjoyed the most are relationship management coupled with sales and solution innovation/ development, predominantly in the OTC and structured derivatives market.
