About Lennard Yong

Lennard is passionate about globalization and corporate expansion. Tricor assists over 50,000 corporations to setup and operate their business in Asia Pacific and beyond. Tricor provides a range of corporate services including incorporations, accounting, HR services, corporate and private family trusts, compliance and risk management to enable corporations to expand and grow in a scalable way. As a former CFO who has now become an international CEO of a corporate solutions company, he understands the needs of the corporation’s middle office and how these solutions can better leverage their capabilities when operating regionally/globally. Prior to this, he has led and delivered on a number of business transformation as CEO in financial services. He is very adaptive and agile having worked and lived in different geographies, different corporate ownerships environment in private equity and public co cultures in Asia, US and UK/Europe. His global business experience covers more recently in Tricor corporate business solutions, international Trust and Corporate services industry. Between 1995 and 2017, he invested almost 23 years operating in, Insurance, Asset Management and Banking in Australia, Asia and in Europe for global multinational financial services - ING Group, MetLife, and FTLife and Tricor Group. In these companies he covered the local businesses management, regional, global roles and executed on corporate development initatives in setting up a USD 1bn joint-venture, various merger and acquisitions, and divestment of a USD 2bn company in 2012 which he led as CEO. Apart from his corporate activities, he was an advisor to the HK government/Insurance Authority in Insurance for a number of years until 2018, past Chairman of the HK Federation of Insurers Life Council, and a current Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce (HK) and a member of the HKMA (management association) general management committee.
