About Lasse Andresen

A powerhouse of tireless can-do enthusiasm, Lasse is a perpetual entrepreneur with a proven ability to transform ideas into a thriving business. His passions include innovation, executive leadership, and--most notably--people. Lasse has a keen ability to assemble and inspire powerhouse teams from diverse backgrounds. With actions over words, he leads by example to build a strong culture that results in high trust, high performing organizations. In his most recent startup venture, Lasse is founder and CEO of IndyKite, co-founder and CTO of indyRIOT and joon. Previously Lasse founded identity and access management company, ForgeRock, which became a publicly traded company in September of 2021. He led as CEO through the startup phase, achieving 100% year-over-year growth and securing top-tier venture funding totaling $230 million. He continued in leadership as CTO, growing the company to over 750 employees in offices around the world, and establishing a customer base of over 1300 Global Fortune 5000 companies. With a passion for helping others succeed, Lasse is an active advisor to many startups. He serves as mentor and coach for Nordic Innovation House portfolio companies, and advisor at StartupLab, the leading Norwegian technology incubator. His specialties include CxO-level leadership, serial startup entrepreneurship, innovation, international/distributed organizational expertise, emerging technologies, IoT, edge / cloud computing, identity and access management, and open source. When he's not dreaming up the next big thing in identity, Lasse is a passionate keyboard player and cyclist, and has toured countries around the world.
