About Kevin Stein

Prior to joining EJF, Kevin was Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Resolution Analytica Corp., a buyer of commercial deficiency judgments from depositories and a Senior Managing Director of KCK-US, Inc., a family office focused on private equity investments in the financial services sector. Prior to joining KCK in 2016, he was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group of Barclays advising banks, specialty finance companies and financial sponsors. Prior to joining Barclays in 2011, Kevin was a Partner and Group Head of the Depository Investment Banking Practice at FBR Capital Markets & Co. From 1994 to 2004, Kevin was a member of the management team of GreenPoint Financial Corporation, a $25 billion bank headquartered in New York which sold to North Fork Bank in 2004. During his tenure at GreenPoint, Kevin's roles included Director of Strategy and Corporate Development, Executive Vice President of Mortgage Banking, Chief Information Officer and Director of Retail Banking. Prior to joining GreenPoint in 1994, he was Associate Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Division of Resolutions. Kevin is a Audit Committee Chairman and since 1996, a Director of Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the first community development corporation in the United States. He is also President of The Dikaia Foundation Inc., a non-profit educational foundation founded by Syracuse Alumni in 1952. Kevin received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University. Kevin is a native of Binghamton, New York and currently resides in Bethesda, Maryland.
