I have spent 25 years underwriting and managing the needs of surety agents, brokers and customers. While much of my early career was with established surety operations, I spent the last 14 years starting-up and growing a top 10 global surety organization. We averaged less than a 5% paid loss ratio while writing over $1 billion of premium since inception, and booked over $400 million in profits during the same time period. I am now focussed on launching the start up of a new global surety underwriting company with a goal of repeating much of the past success achieved with an entrepreneurial team and platform.
