About José M. Linares

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in leading financial services firms around the world. New York, Hong Kong and London are some of the places I’ve been lucky enough to call home.

I started my career covering Latin American stocks at Morgan Stanley and went on to spend more than 17 years at J.P. Morgan where I held several senior positions in corporate & investment banking.

Since 2017, I am the Global Head of Santander´s Corporate and Investment Bank. In addition to my responsibilities as head of SCIB, I am a member of the Group´s Management Committee, Executive Risk Committee, Inclusive and Sustainable Banking Steering Committee and Santander´s Asset Management Board. I also lead the Global Executive Diversity & Inclusion Working Group as well as regularly attend the Board Responsible Banking Sustainability and Culture Committee.
