About Jonathan McPhail
A financial services technology and innovation specialist passionate about embedded finance. Bringing to life the next generation of financial services, made available directly at point of context, where and when they are needed, providing new value pools for platforms, marketplaces, tech enablers and financial institutions.
As Lead Client Partner for Banking as a Service in Europe for Finastra, I'm responsible for driving Finastra's embedded finance strategy, business development, sales and marketing, and co-innovation with customers, technology alliances and digital brands in the region.
Previous roles at Finastra include Solution Lead for Lending and Corporate Banking, covering all aspects of go to market strategy and execution. Leading relationships as trusted partner to financial institution C-suite. Building partnerships with FinTechs and designing transformative corporate banking solution architecture.
Before joining Finastra in 2009, worked at Morgan Stanley, responsible for primary loan operations for Europe and APAC, liaising with business, legal, compliance and treasury.
Unique experience and skills across business development, industry and technology, providing the ability to connect the dots to identify and deliver opportunity for innovative solutions in the industry.
