About Jon Meadows

Jon Meadows is the Managing Director of Cyber Security at Citigroup, a role to which he was named in December 2019. He joined Citigroup from JPMorgan Chase, where he most recently served as Executive Director and Head of Security Engineering, Corporate and Investment Banking. Jon Meadows joined JPMorgan in April 2012 as Executive Director and Head of Equities Trading in the EMEA region. Prior to JPMorgan, He worked at Nomura Holdings as an Executive Director and Global Program Manager. He also previously held roles at Lehman Brothers, Finetix, KeySpan and worked as a consultant at JPMorgan.  Jon Meadows has extensive software engineering experience in the financial services industry and an in-depth knowledge of cyber security. He is focused on software supply chain security and has contributed to industry guidance such as CNCF’s Secure Software Factory Reference Architecture. He is an advocate of DevSecOps culture with heavy use of threat modelling, codified security controls and automated security testing. Jon Meadows brings experience from previous roles at j.p. Morgan, Nomura and Lehman Brothers. Jonathan Meadows holds a 1989 - 1992 Master of Business Administration in International Business @ Webster University.
