About John Loveland

John is a seasoned technology industry executive and entrepreneur who's held leadership positions with public, private and start-up companies. He specializes in building and leading global teams, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and driving revenue through direct sales and partnerships. A pioneer in the information risk management disciplines, John has founded companies and built practices in the areas of cyber risk, electronic discovery, regulatory compliance, data privacy, and enterprise information governance. He is a published author and frequent speaker and has testified as an expert at both the Federal and State levels. John has a passion for inner-city opportunity development and youth sports. He currently serves on the board of Covenant House DC, one of the largest privately-funded childcare agencies in the U.S., which provides services to homeless and runaway youth. He has served previously on the boards of Samaritan Inns, Center for Neighborhood Enterprise and Vision Regeneration. John was also a political appointee in his hometown of Dallas to several task forces on issues related to economic development in impoverished areas. He is a long-time little league baseball coach and was a member of Leadership Greater Washington (2010), Leadership Dallas (2003) and the FBI Citizens’ Academy (2012).
