About Jesus Renero

Jesus Renero, Leading expert in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Head of Advanced Analytics at BBVA AI Factory. He has an extensive background in computer science, telecommunications, and data science, with experience across various industries. He has worked for organizations such as Ericsson Research, Telefónica I+D, and Sanitas. Jesus Renero is current work focuses on using machine learning to build intelligent systems that improve business processes. In addition to his role at BBVA, Jesus Renero is a professor of Machine Learning at IE University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at Universidad de Navarra. He is research interests include causality and the application of AI in risk management and fraud detection, particularly within the banking sector. He also engages in collaborative projects with universities and open innovation initiatives.​
