• CEO Elwood Asset Management Former CEO, Non-exec board member of VeridumID • Former Non-exec board member of Red Deer • HSBC, James was Investment Director for the Corporate Venture Fund. He was tasked with delivering Strategic Investments and bringing new Technology and business services to life globally. Whilst James focused on Enterprise Technology (Cloud, Mobile, Social, Data and Security), he also drove business strategy and investments for: Retail Bank, Private Bank and Markets/Trading. James has a history of working with the Global Venture Capital, Large Cap Technology, Business Development and Financial Strategy communities; having spent c.4 years at JP Morgan delivering Global Corporate Investment & Retail Bank technology strategy. This role was further enhanced by leading a string of investments in companies that assisted the acceleration of the Innovation life-cycle. • James began his career working for Motorola and spent a further c.12 years working within IBM & Cisco in Operations, Sales and Business Strategy functions and has a proven track record of building, adopting and delivering technology which scales to the enterprise.
