Itai Damti is a geek in finance and co-founder at Unit, helping tech companies build financial features into their products, such as accounts, cards, payments, and lending. The company is growing fast and hiring exceptional doers, mostly in New York. Previously, she and her co-founder Doron co-founded Leverate, an industry leader in tech for online brokers, growing it without VC funding to 160 employees globally and managing $100 billion in monthly trading volume. During her 10 years at Leverate, she started and led the engineering team, then the product team, and eventually the business across Asia Pacific. She is a lifelong learner of everything tech, startups, and VC, and she actively mentors, advises, and invests in early-stage startups. Unit is the embedded finance platform that helps tech companies build banking and lending into their products.
