Ishmael Yamson Jnr. is a highly competent business optimizer, mentor and leader with over two decades experience. He combines strong acumen with exceptional technical and process knowledge across technology, FMCG’s, banking, media and manufacturing.
Ishmael’s professional achievements are matched by his academic excellence, which includes a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, a master’s degree in Process Systems Engineering, an MBA (both of the latter from the Imperial College, UK), two Diplomas of Imperial College in engineering and management. He recently completed an LLM (Laws) with emphasis on Internet and Intellectual Property Law with the University of Liverpool.
His expertise includes business development, organizational restructuring, change management, governance, financial management & budgetary control, mergers and acquisitions, and supply chain management. He has applied these talents across several businesses to deliver value and returns in excess of $100m within the past decade.
Ishmael has successfully grown his enterprise & mobile technology business Nosmay Company Limited to become the primary partner in the SME space for West Africa for SAP, the global enterprise solution provider. Nosmay under his aegis has expanded its’ operations in 12 African countries with its own proprietary technology product suite.
In addition to being CEO of Nosmay Company Ltd. Ishmael serves on the board of several companies in finance, media and technology. He is also Co-Founder and Chairman of WASPAG the trade organization of mobile value-added service providers in Ghana, Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Cloud Africa Ltd. and a mentor in the Kosmos Innovation Centre Business Booster Programme.
Ishmael enjoys travelling to historical destinations, reading and is an avid soccer fan.
