Before joining Aevi, Frank van der Wielen gained experience in sales, account management, and relationship management while working with various companies. He is dedicated to promoting the future of payment acceptance and collaborating with customers and partners to implement new and innovative payment solutions that facilitate cutting-edge in-person payment experiences.
Frank van der Wielen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. He currently serves as the Director of Account Management at Aevi, where they oversee the daily commercials of the company's customers, including banks, acquirers, PSP's, and T1 retailers. He is also responsible for translating new requirements into solutions and positioning new strategic solutions. Prior to this role, He was the Director of Business Development Europe at Aevi, focusing on expanding the commercial relationship and accounts across Northern Europe.
Before joining Aevi, Frank van der Wielen worked at EMS | European Merchant Services as a Relationship Manager Partnerships, where they played a key role in expanding the number of POS partners offering EMS acquiring services in the Dutch market.
In their earlier career, He held various roles at Centric. As an International Account Manager, they managed relationships and new opportunities for Dutch as well as international retailers, including customers in Norway, Sweden, and Sri Lanka. He also worked as a Delivery Manager, responsible for presales, prospecting, and existing customers for retail solutions in the Netherlands and abroad. Additionally, He worked as an Account Manager at Centric, specializing in fashion retail and managing accounts for POS, ERP, WMS, CRM, and mobile solutions.
Frank's career began at Bork Automatisering, where they started as a Sales Representative for ICG Point of Sale software, gradually building up the customer base from scratch.
Prior to their career in the technology sector, Frank van der Wielen was the owner of Wielphone B.V., an automotive internet company with installation services.
