Emma Shand is a non-executive director, international adviser and multi-disciplinary leader having worked at the intersection of technology, financial services and capital markets for 25 years across Asia Pacific, the US and EMEA. Expertise in strategy formulation, operating model transformation to unlock new revenue and earnings growth and leveraging mission-critical and innovative technology has seen She work with highly regulated market infrastructure entities to early stage and disruptive companies spanning technology, healthcare, industrial and property sectors. Emma Shand’s corporate career includes 16 years with Nasdaq, including leadership of the global management consulting business and corporate development of Nasdaq’s technology business, overseeing strategy, venture investments, M&A and partnerships. She is a non-executive director of EML Payments. She is proficient in highly regulated environments, formulating strategy and leveraging technology, data and digital innovation to drive responsible growth, margin expansion and value creation. Emma Shand has deep exposure to different business and operating models, risk environments and cultural settings, having led, worked with and served companies spanning Australia, Asia, the US, UK, Middle East, Africa and Europe. With a track record of successfully initiating and overseeing complex structural, technology and transformational change, along with M&A integration, She brings her broad experience to a diverse range of boards and committees. Board experience ranges from regulated financial entities, to fintech, healthcare and cybersecurity companies.
