Duncan Wales is the founder of Tellimer. He has worked for more than 25 years in fintech and financial services innovation. For 7 years he was a senior member of the Executive Management committee at ICAP plc, and prior to that part of the founding executive management team at markets innovator BrokerTec. He is a lawyer by background and trained and worked at Clifford Chance in the structured finance and derivatives team for 5 years. He has an MA in social and political sciences from Cambridge University, and has two postgraduate qualifications in law. He served for 12 years with UK Reserve Forces.
