About Duare Perez

20+ years of experience in corporate finance and insurance, managing global projects and teams with a focus on strategy transformation, technology and data modeling.

Holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA degree in Economics, Politics & Philosophy from Oxford University.

Currently heads the Americas Property & Casualty Analytics team at Swiss Re. In this role he partners with our 900+ Americas clients to enable their digital transformation. The team excels at creating insurance solutions that reduce premium leakage and avoid adverse selection. Examples of this includes Impact + housing Property (HOMA), Motor (MMA) and Commercial (COIN) proprietary variables, all built under a common data and modeling platform.

Joined Swiss Re in 2008 in asset management to build the pipeline of Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) and Weather derivates by leveraging his experience in CDO trading and derivatives portfolio management. In 2013 he moved to the reinsurance division as a Senior Structurer to manage complex advisory solutions for C-Suites and business heads at our insurance clients.

When he is not working, he enjoys time his wife and three kids and mentors aspiring iron-man triathletes.
