About Don Thibeau

Don is a member of the Board and former Executive Director of the OpenID Foundation, a non-profit, international standards development organization of individuals and companies committed to developing, promoting and protecting open identity technical standards. Don is also the Interim Chair Of the Global Open Finance Technical Standards Working Group at the University of Edinburgh Global Open Finance Center of Excellence. He was Co-Chair of International Institute of Finance Open Digital Trust Initiative and the OASIS Electronic Identity Credential Trust Elevation Methods (Trust Elevation) Technical Committee, and serves on other industry committees in the Financial Data and Technology Association, the Financial Data Exchange and others. Don was the founder and President of the Open Identity Exchange for 7 years and now serves as Vice Chair of its board.
