About Derrick Estes

Mr. Derrick Estes served as Partner & Member of Buyouts Investment Committee at Corsair Capital. He served as Board Member at Zedra Global Services. He joined Corsair's New York office in 2006, he relocated to London in 2013. Derrick Estes has worked closely with many of the firm's portfolio companies in multiple geographies, including North America, Europe, and Asia. He was focused on sourcing investment opportunities in the banking, asset/wealth management, specialty finance, insurance, and financial technology industries. Before joining Corsair in 2006, he was a member of Merrill Lynch's Financial Institutions Group in New York. Currently, he is involved with Corsair's investments in Currencies Direct, Williams & Glyn, and Union Bank of Nigeria. He holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from Williams College. With a robust skill set that includes Private Equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, Investment Banking, Investments, Portfolio Management and more.
