About David Guiver

David Guiver is a senior leader focussed on the delivery of leading edge payment solutions to banks and intermediaries. During the course of his career, he has worked in a variety of organisations ranging from next generation startups to large global multi-nationals - whilst retaining a common theme of payments evolution. Specialities are real-time payments, customer solution consulting and product delivery. Achievements include: • Working for Visa International at the time of the Sydney Olympics (major sponsor). • Becoming involved with a small startup called Distra, which was selected by Visa as having the best next generation payments platform. • Building out Distra's payments product from a conceptual idea to a comprehensive solution chosen by large global banks. • Being part of the team that negotiated the sale of Distra to ACI Worldwide, leading to the adoption of Distra technology within ACI's payments product suite. • Becoming the software product management owner for the "Real-Time Payments Solution" within ACI. • Joining IR as the Head of their Transact and Infrastructure products.
