Darrell Hubbard is an experienced technologist, an innovator, and a business architect. Darrell started college at the age of 16, completed his Bachelors in Computer Science at the age of 18, and his Masters in Computer Science at the age of 19. Darrell started his career as a Chief Architect at AT&T Bell Laboratories. At age 21, he was the youngest USA Expert within the American National Standards Institute to represent the United States of America internationally in proposing and negotiating various Internet-related standards. As a Chief Architect with AT&T Bell Laboratories, he represented AT&T and served as a member of the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) working on the standardization and release of the TCP/IP Protocol. Darrell also served as a Chairperson in the International Standards Organization (ISO). Darrell Hubbard has served as the Head of IT for AT&T Corporation, managing over $160M in IT projects over a 5 year period reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer's Advisory Board. Darrell founded Medic System and was featured in PC Today Magazine for his design and development in pioneering one of the industry's first Electronic Medical Records (EMR) technologies. After a successful exit of Medic Systems, he founded Vertron Corporation, a boutique management and Information Technology Consulting and Software Development practice. Over the past 12 years, his clients include Dell Computers, HP, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Amgen, Toyota, Oracle, and Philip Healthcare to name a few. Darrell also has a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School Darrell was inducted into the North Carolina State University Computer Science Hall of Fame in 2018.
