Danielle Cloud
Danielle Cloud currently leads the Enterprise Data Governance and Data Platforms software product management team at American Express. These teams are responsible for establishing data policies and data management practices across our company while developing modern platforms that support current analytical use cases and evolving application use cases (data modeling, reporting, AI/ML). This team is also responsible for customer platform which maintains holistic membership relationship improving overall customer experience. Previously Danielle Cloud was the Vice President Loyalty & Benefit Platforms where software product and engineering teams are combined into the Enterprise Platforms Center of Excellence to bring loyalty and benefits products and services our customers love to life. Danielle has experience leading Product Development for Global Accounts Receivables (AR) and Global Card Benefits at American Express leading product teams responsible for agile product development on Global AR (Product Definition, Account Management, Receivables Management, Statements, AR Services and Data Publishing), US Insurance and Global Benefits software platforms. During her 20+ years with the company, Danielle has held a variety of roles across Performance Engineering- Merchant Services, Fraud Risk Management and Enterprise Digital & Analytics. She is an advocate for innovation, Agile Product Management, gaining experience in digital payments such as 3DSecure, ApplePay, EMV Contactless and how they work across the globe. She has stood up new teams, expanded products in innovative ways and worked on patents for American Express. Danielle is originally from Rochester, NY. She holds an Industrial Engineering BSE and Master of Business Administration in Global Leadership from Arizona State University. Danielle and her husband live in Scottsdale, AZ, and have 3 kids who keep them very busy! In addition to spending time with her family, Danielle enjoys catching up on popular TV series, travelling and hiking.
