About Daniel Springman

Dan Springman, MBA CPCU, joined Hudson in 2022 after 11 years at Beazley. He has spent his career focusing primarily on medical professional liability. Prior to joining Beazley, he was an underwriter of professional liability with Markel. Dan is an Underwriting Manager at Hudson. He is responsible for establishing, directing and implementing the overall portfolio management strategy and management of the team. Dan is responsible for designing policy forms, rates, appetite, and underwriting guidelines for Hudson. He provides technical expertise in the medical arena, helping to maintain and improve market reputation of the Hudson brand. He is a well-respected author, having penned numerous class specific articles. He received his Master of Business Administration degree and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri.
