Claude LeBlanc is President, Chief Executive Officer, and director of Ambac Financial Group (NYSE: AMBC), Inc. a financial services holding company whose subsidiaries underwrite property and casualty insurance while managing a legacy run off financial guarantee business. Mr. LeBlanc is responsible for the oversight and advancement of Ambac’s strategic priorities with the goal of creating long-term shareholder value. He is responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for ensuring the execution of the Company’s short and long term plans. He has approximately 30 years of experience in the financial services sector and over that period has held a number of senior leadership roles at top companies overseeing strategy, corporate development, finance and risk. Mr. LeBlanc has served as a public company director for Maiden Holdings, Ltd (20-21’). He is a member of the Wall Street Journal CEO Council and the Dean’s Advisory Council - Schulich School of Business. He also holds memberships with the Chartered Accountants of Ontario and Chartered Accountants of Bermuda.
