About Boaz Lessem

Boaz Lessem Adv. is an internationally recognized regulatory and legal expert, focused on all aspects of the digitization of the electronic trade documents and electronic bill of lading (in particular) process, and a featured speaker at conferences and seminars around the world. As Head of Legal Product at the Tel Aviv based, WAVE BL Electronic Bill of Lading blockchain based Platform since 2017, he led the design of the platform’s legal framework through its approval, in December 2019, by the IGPANDI. WAVE BL Electronic Bill of Lading Platform is in current commercial use by carriers such as MSC, HLAG, ZIM and ONE issuing E/bills to their customers world-wide. Boaz is an active participant in industry groups focused on the digitization of trade finance, interoperability between platforms, advocating for E/bill adoption and use.
