About Anton Coertzen

With almost 20 years of working experience my career has been focused on growing partnerships and developing and leading diverse teams. With an immense passion and respect for people and agile environments one of my main strengths is to connect and setup mutual relationships. I started my journey as an accountant whilst completing my articles at a small to medium sized Auditing firm. After becoming a Professional Accountant I joined Deloitte Consulting and functioned in the Integrated Solutions, Outsourced Solutions and Office of the Chief Financial Officer focusing on financial management, audit readiness and pricing and management turnaround strategies. It is in this space that he pursued his Prince 2 Project management certification and discovered his passion for revenue turnaround plans, growth strategies, and people. In 2015 I joined Mastercard and has been functioning in roles such as Controller, Finance Business Partner and Digital Partnerships Expert Sales. At Mastercard I setup Fintech Partnership and digital value proposition for the Southern Africa division. My entrepreneurial spirit guided me to make a career shift and join Ukheshe Technologies leading Strategic Partnerships. Later I transitioned into the role of Chief Commercial Officer. I've built up expertise in various areas including tax structuring, financial management, project management, audit readiness, pricing strategies, country strategies, partnership growth and revenue turnaround. As a Chief Commercial Officer, I'm responsible for ensuring the commercial success of Ukheshe.
