About Andrew Marquardt

Andrew Marquardt is a Founder and Managing Partner of Mendon Venture Partners, a venture capital investment and strategic advisory firm focused on the intersection of financial technology companies and traditional banks. Prior to Mendon Ventures, Mr. Marquardt was a Partner at boutique merchant bank Middlemarch Partners and was a Managing Director and Global Operating Committee member at BlackRock in its Financial Markets Advisory group. Previously, he was a Founding Partner of the institutional equities business at Evercore, which capped his 15+ years on Wall Street as a top-ranked equity research analyst by several measures including Institutional Investor survey and Greenwich Associates. He started his career as a bank examiner and supervisory analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York covering U.S. and Japanese banks in the late ‘90s. Mr. Marquardt earned a BA degree, with honors, in economics from Skidmore College, and also had the privilege of serving as a board member of America Needs You, a non-profit supporting ambitious first-generation college students from low-income families.
