Andrew has worked at the crossroads of banking, business automation, and technology management for more than 20 years. At adorsys Group, he is accountable for the overall organizational performance and the profitable path into the technology future. Operationally he focuses on four topics:
CxO advisory: IT Strategy, IT Governance and Risk, IT Portfolio Organization and Effectiveness;
IT Operating Models: Organization and Operating Model Design, Digital Impact of IT, IT Performance Management and Cost Optimization;
Digital Transformation: Identification of data-driven Business Models, Migration to Cloud Platforms, IT Carve-Outs, Transformation Planning and Project Delivery;
Enterprise Architecture: Architecture Development, Architecture Maturity Analysis, Architecture Methods and Tools.
With an educational background in Information Systems and Investment, he has a proven track record of launching new tech-based products and transforming operating models into highly scalable platform architectures. He has operationally managed large technical development initiatives and maintained global high performance systems. Over the years, he has built digital business models, introduced risk-based system and control structures to IT environments, and coordinated platform investment across a broad range of industries including retail finance, eCommerce and IT services. When it comes to acquisitions and portfolio management, he conducts technical due diligence analyses incl. the IT financials around the globe and keeps track of the appropriate portfolio developments.
Andrew remains actively involved in technical, advisory and startup-related work. Recent projects include the setup and implementation of a comprehensive IT risk and compliance management environment for regulated near and offshore services, a large-scale transformation of an international payments system to a micro-services architecture and due diligence work/technical evaluation of a Product-as-a-Service platform.
He grew up in the UK, Germany and the southern US, now calls Ireland home and commutes (whenever necessary and/or possible) to his place of work in Frankfurt, Germany. Andrew regularly speaks at international conferences, which makes him a valuable resource for all retail banking and technology trends.
