About Alpesh Chokshi

Payments Leader, Advisor, & Investor. Most recently Alpesh was Global Head of Business Development and Strategy for Citi Consumer. He was responsible for creating partnerships with leading Tech Platforms, Fintechs, and Consumer Franchises. Prior to Citibank, Alpesh led Visa’s relationships with the largest US banks. Before Visa, Alpesh was with American Express. As President of Global Payment Options, Alpesh led Amex’s alternative payments, mobile banking, and prepaid businesses. Alpesh was previously head of Corporate Strategy and M&A for American Express, reporting to the CEO. Before Amex, he was a founding partner and member of the Board of Mitchell Madison Group, a strategy consulting firm. Alpesh earned an MBA from the Wharton School, and dual Bachelor’s degrees with honors in Electrical Engineering and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Wharton Alumni Executive Board.
