About Alex Gatiragas

Alex Gatiragas is the Director of Digital Solution Experience for Giesecke+Devrient. In this role, Alex works together with G+D’s global organization to assist financial institutions with their continued transformation to digital services. He advises on the impact of digital payments, wallets and authentication services, as well as other upcoming industry disruptors such as digital currencies. With over 25 years in technology leadership roles, Alex has worked with multinational organizations including Ericsson and NEC. His technical and business expertise spans multiple disciplines, including Cloud services, Data Centers, Cyber Security, Digital Currency, IoT and Blockchain. Alex Gatiragas holds qualifications in Engineering and is certified in Agile Scrum practices. Alex has also completed certifications in relatively new technologies, such as Blockchain Strategy, at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
