I have 15+ years of experience focused on the TMT sector across the EMEA and Asia region. My experience spans investing - early and growth stage, portfolio management, strategy, restructuring and capital raising. Excited to join one of Africa's leading Fintech business', hoping to disrupt more mainstream business' on the continent and giving customers more of what they havent seen before! The 6 years prior to this at ISON were exhilarating -- both the span from a geographical perspective -- Asia, ME, Africa and the breadth - working closely with the founders of our tech investment portfolio to expand and grow their business', restructuring of our technology business, enabling profitable exit for our PE investors Evangelizing ISON Health and ISON Towers (conceptualizing, striking global partnership, identifying growth opportunities) and getting ~USD600m+ in capital commitment was an extremely satisfying experience. Owing to the varied leadership roles at ISON -- i have had the unique opportunity to build relationships across a very wide spectrum of principals --- seed and early stage investors, Private equity, LP's, DFI's, Banks, Corporates and Industrial groups across a large region. I have a first hand perspective on the unique nuances of the political, socio--economic and business environments in each country. Prior to ISON, I spent a decade at EY's TMT investment banking team and Dubai Holdings TMT investment arm - EITL. During this time I have driven M&A in excess of USD 5bn - both domestic and cross border and held numerous Observer positions on the Board of Dubai Holding's investee companies.
