I currently lead Protection Guru's detailed protection research and benchmarking of both product and operation features provided by insurers and have a vast knowledge of the protection market. I have been instrumental in building the protection comparison service Quality Analyser and maintaining the data to enable adviser to quickly and easily compare protection products based on qualitative measures. I also work with adviser firms to help in panel reviews and with insurers to help them understand the shape of the market, their strengths and the areas that could be improved in their products. I have led many consultancy projects with various different clients including private banks, scale distribution firms, software suppliers and major life & pension providers on a number of subjects such as software supplier selection, objective analysis of protection propositions and general market analysis. I am a regular conference speaker and columnist for trade publications where I draw on my extensive knowledge of the advice process, protection products and how they interact to highlight key industry topics.
