World’s 2nd best tennis player Daniil Medvedev releases unique hybrid NFT
The World’s first hybrid NFT, non-fungible token backed by a real physical object, went on sale on Mostexpensive – a brand-new British marketplace. The lots – tokens, based on ball and racket signed by the 2nd best tennis player in the World Daniil Medvedev.
“I used these two – ball and racket – during tournament in Marseille. After I won the tournament I signed the items which are now the World’s first hybrid NFTs!” – Medvedev said.
The token consists of two parts: digital representation and a real physical object. The customer buys both token and the object which is stored in a depository. The object can be delivered to the new owner on demand. Mostexpensive not just sells hybrid NFTs but also grants stability of its prices. The marketplace signs a contract with each minter (person who emits token and sells it via Mostexpensive) which includes clause of limited replicability which forbids the minter to emit similar NFTs – this point protects the token from devaluation. All the hybrid NFTs being sold via the marketplace are backed by objects, which authenticity is officially certified.
Mostexpensive plans to continue developing by introducing new mechanics, attracting new celebrities and offering new lots – such as NFTs dedicated to special events. As for cooperation with Medvedev, the marketplace also intents to widen the partnership by issuing an NFT collection of unique digital cards to commemorate the athlete’s achievements.
