Viva Wallet activates UK IBAN accounts for its business customers

Viva Wallet activates UK IBAN accounts for its UK business customers via Faster Payments for direct money transfers between banks as well as payment providers in the UK.

The UK IBAN business accounts (with sort code 04-00-24) as well as the direct money transfers enrich the fully integrated payment services that Viva Wallet offers to its customers. Business in the UK can now open a business account in just two minutes and accept payments in their physical and online store, use the Viva Wallet Company Debitcard to pay for their business expenses, withdraw money from ATMs as well as manage all their payment services through Viva Wallet’s web-banking application.

Marios Tzitziras, Strategic Projects Director at Viva Wallet, says: “Viva Wallet leverages the opportunities offered by the European Payment Directives (PSD1 and PSD2) to create an international payment service provider in Europe. We are constantly trying to analyse each market’s specific needs as well as capabilities in order to develop tailored-made payment services. We want our clients to focus only on their business while we take care of their payments needs”.

Viva Wallet is an officially licensed e-money institution providing payment services across the European Economic Area in three currencies (EURO, GBP, LEU) and has presence in five countries (Greece, Cyprus, Great Britain, Belgium and Romania).
