Vested Appoints Silicon Valley Veteran Trowbridge As Chief Technology Officer
Vested, an integrated communications firm focused on the future of finance, today announced it has appointed Silicon Valley veteran, Kevin Trowbridge, as chief technology officer.
As CTO, Trowbridge will oversee the development of Vested’s proprietary PR solutions and drive efficiency into the firm’s professional services offerings.
Trowbridge, who has significant experience as both a software developer and a project manager, has held leading roles at numerous startups, including The Bold Italic, An Event Apart, Creative Bug, Wheelz, HitRecord, and Ariba.
“Throughout my career I’ve been fortunate enough to work with a number of companies who have reinvented their category,” said Trowbridge. “Vested is on a similar mission in communications and I believe the PR industry is ripe for technological disruption.”
“We founded Vested to be a different type of communications firm,” said Co-Founder and CEO Dan Simon. “A core part of that difference is technology and how it can be harnessed to transform the outdated communications industry. Kevin brings years of incredible experience to our efforts and I’m thrilled he chose to join us.”
This hire continues Vested’s strategy of identifying and filling roles adjacent to and complementary of the firm’s core set of services, integrated communications. In 2015, it hired Ali Wells as chief creative officer and in 2016 retained Milton Ezrati as chief economist. In 2017, the firm hired Eric Hazard as CEO of Vested Ventures, its investment division.
