UNIC Partners with R3 on Corda Blockchain Platform

R3, an enterprise blockchain software firm, recently launched Corda Enterprise, a commercial distribution of Corda specifically optimised to meet the demands of complex institutions. Corda is an enterprise-grade blockchain platform that removes costly friction in business transactions by enabling institutions to transact directly using smart contracts, while ensuring the highest levels of privacy and security.

Objectives of this partnership include joint research and contribution towards Corda’s code base, construction of Corda-oriented professional certification material, and co-organizaton of Corda Bootcamps. A joint Corda bootcamp will be organised at Decentralized 2019, the University of Nicosia’s annual blockchain conference taking place on 30 October – 1 November 2019. The bootcamp is a full-day session for those wishing to learn the fundamentals of the Corda blockchain platform and start developing their own CorDapp.
