Ulysses and Koala launch Europe’s first travel cancellation

Ulysse, the online travel agency simplifying the experience of booking airline tickets, today announced the launch of its new trip cancellation service, in partnership with Koala.

This unique service in Europe, called Koala Flex, allows Ulysse’s customers :

• to cancel their booking for any reason up to 4 days before departure, without having to
  provide any justification
•  to be refunded 70% of the booking price (extra included).

After a year of major upheavals in travel plans, having the opportunity to cancel with reason their booking was identified – in a post-confinement survey of its customers carried out by Ulysse – as one of the main factors (37%) that would give travellers more confidence to rebook a plane ticket. Ulysse, whose primary concern is to satisfy the demands of its customers, has therefore decided to join forces with Koala, the neo insurtech travel specialist, to enable its users to re-book their trip with a lighter mind.

Koala Flex allows travellers to cancel their trip for any reason if they no longer wish to travel: fear of a new wave of COVID-19, broken leg, COVID close contact, change of mind, etc.
