The Summer Blockbuster in Payroll Technology Is Coming Soon: DailyPay’s Enhanced “Cycle”

DailyPay, a worktech company and leading provider of On-Demand Pay, is enhancing its popular Cycle solution, which enables payroll teams to efficiently and cost-effectively disburse off-cycle payments anytime, anywhere. Set to launch this summer, DailyPay’s enhanced Cycle reflects the company’s continued commitment to creating innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of its clients, including leading global employers.

“As off-cycle payments become a strategic priority for modern payroll teams, our updated Cycle product meets the need for speed, flexibility, and compliance—without requiring changes to existing systems,” said Carly Brush, SVP and General Manager, On-Demand Pay and HCM, DailyPay.Cycle is built for the way you pay—flexible, integrated, and ready to scale.”

The original version of Cycle enables same-day disbursements for scenarios such as termination pay, missed hours, and payroll corrections. It’s designed to support both one-time, urgent needs and everyday operational use as part of the payroll toolkit. Cycle will now build on the functionality of this critical solution with expanded capabilities and deeper integration, enabling it to seamlessly fit into complex payroll environments. The new enhancements include:

  • Increased Batch Payment limits supporting disbursements up to $50,000 per payment and 2,500 lines per file—up to $7M total.
  • Multi-Billing Accounts, enabling organizations to fund payments from multiple accounts in a single payroll cycle.
  • Tiered Approval workflows, enabling secure, scalable controls across departments and pay types.
