The Fintech Magazine Issue #30

The cameras are flashing, the red carpet is out, and the guests are arriving for…

The latest edition of FF News presents The Fintech Magazine!

Issue 30 is a special one. It’s an FF Awards special and has everything you need to know about the night itself. We’ve got pictures from the night, presenters, guests, winners and more. And there’s a full rundown of all the winners. You can find out why they won, what makes them great, and what they look like too!

But that’s not all. There’s also an impressive roster of articles from the best minds and innovators that fintech has to offer. Each issue, we aim to provide an up to date look at the cutting edge of financial services and we turn to the people in the know, to find out what’s changing.

Here’s just some of the things you can expect to learn about in this edition of the fintech magazine.

We’ve got Paul Carr from Temenos, Mark Ashton from Capgemini and Joerg Schmuecker from MongoDB talking about composable banking and how it has emerged as the way to transform banks today.

Mark Brant from NatWest takes us through the future of payments infrastructure, explaining the need to facilitate digital and non-digital channels.

We hear from Steve Naudé at Wise who gives us a run through of their journey so far and some of the partnerships they are busy with going forward.

Everyone wants to know what the impact of FedNow will be over in the states so we got Volante Technologies Chetan Cariappa to take us through that.

Beata Lubinska from Allica Bank lets us know how to grow a bank and the importance of treasury management.

Nabil Manji from Worldpay from FIS gives us the lowdown on CBDCs and their potential impact on the payments landscape.

There’s lots more on strategic pricing from SunTec, the future of SaaS banking from Temenos, open finance and security from CBI, compliance from Finastra, instant payments from UL Solutions, the potential of digital currency for crossing borders from ClearBank, identifying risk from SmartStream, reimagining wealth management from Mobiquity, the need for digitisation from iGCB, making the move to the US from Kani and ebankIT, and we look at a report from Yorkshire Building Society on the emergence of PropTech.

We also hear from FIS on their Global Innovation Report which looks at what technology is needed for businesses to move forward, and from KPMG on their Global Technology Innovator, to find out what they’re looking for from the competition and who made the finals in 2023.

If all that wasn’t enough, there’s the usual check in from our editor Sue Scott, and a brilliant perspective on the tech ecosystem in Cyprus from contributor Fiona MacFarlane.

That’s all in our latest edition which you can view here.

It’s a great way to round off the year, and once again we’re delighted to bring you the latest and best insights from the world of fintech. If you’d like to be featured and want to learn more about how you can collaborate with us, please get in touch.

We hope you enjoy reading it on your last day at work with a mince pie and some mulled wine, when there’s nothing left to do.

Merry Christmas! ?
