TANDEM NOMINATED FOR CONSUMER CREDIT AWARD

Tandem has been nominated as the ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Consumer Credit Awards 2018.

The winners will be chosen by UK consumers and will be announced at the awards evening on the 12^th of July in London.

The awards recognise banks that put the customer at the heart of the industry. The awards provide a showcase for consumers looking for the best credit providers. Ricky Knox, Tandem’s CEO, commented, “We are delighted with the nomination for best newcomer. With the help of our Co-Founders we are committed to creating products that make the lives of our customers easier and we are proud to be commended for it.”

The ‘Best Newcomer’ award is a recognition of a bank that has changed the nature of banking and provides a reliable service to its customers since it was introduced in 2014. The Tandem App, Fixed Saver Accounts, and their Travel Cashback Credit Card are all products that aim to be transparent, simple to use, and are designed so that people spend less time worrying about money and more time enjoying life.

Voting is open now and the winner will be decided completely by UK consumers. Between the 2^nd of April and the 10^th of June consumers can vote for a firm of their choice and on the 11^th of June a list of finalists will be announced before voting reopens. The winners will be announced on the 12^th of July.

The Consumer Credit Awards are run by the Smart Money People, which is the UK’s leading independent review platform for financial services. The aim of the organisation is to find the best providers and they work with providers to deliver market leading customer insight.
