ANNA expands into tax services
ANNA, the mobile business current account and financial admin app is significantly growing its suite of services.
Unveiled on Monday 10th February at an investors’ event in Shoreditch, ANNA launched new personal and business tax features that will calculate, file and pay taxes on behalf of self-employed, freelancers and small business customers. ANNA is inviting an initial set of customers to sign up and is opening the service up to new customers on a limited basis. The offering will be fully compatible with HMRC’s Making Tax
Digital initiative.
The new service will make use of ANNA’s tax deadline and auto-expense categorisation and build on accounting-led services for both individuals and businesses. This will comprise of:
- Personal tax - expense tracking, and self-assessment calculation and filing
- Business tax - calculation and filing of VAT, corporation tax. Financial account submissions, companies house confirmation statement.
The service will be available via subscriptions; £9.90 per month for personal, and £19.90 per month for business tax; both come with access to a professional accountant for regular accountancy health checks and advice, a first in mobile banking. Open banking features will allow ANNA to automatically reconcile transactions from outside the ANNA current account - and customers will be able to sign up to tax services without opening an ANNA account.
