Standard Chartered Appoints Alan Lin as Global Head of Cash
Standard Chartered has appointed Alan Lin as Global Head of Cash, Transaction Banking. Based in Singapore, Alan will be responsible for growing the cash management franchise for the Bank’s Transaction Banking business. He will report to Alex Manson, Global Head of Transaction Banking and will be a member of the Transaction Banking Management Team. His appointment is effective 18 September 2017.
Alan is a banking veteran with 24 years of banking experience predominantly in Transaction Banking with Citibank. He is a seasoned leader with deep cash expertise and a strong client focus. Prior to joining us, he was Citi’s Greater China Treasury and Trade Solutions Head. He has held various senior leadership positions prior to that including running Citi’s global solutions business for payments and receivables as well as managing transaction services and implementation teams.

This appointment further strengthens the Transaction Banking Management Team after the recent appointment of David Koh as Regional Head, Transaction Banking, Greater China and North Asia, based in Hong Kong. David joined from Westpac Banking Corporation where he was Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking, Asia.
