SMARTDEBIT CIO SHORTLISTED FOR PRESTIGIOUS AWARD
SmartDebit, the UK’s leading service provider, today confirmed that SmartDebit CIO, Dr. Gavin Scruby, has been shortlisted as ‘CIO of the Year’ in the Tech Leaders 2018 awards.
The Tech Leaders Awards are organised by Information Age. Since its launch in 1995, Information Age has been regarded as one of the most respected technology titles in the B2B realm. It still stands as one of the UK’s leading IT magazines and websites, boasting an esteemed readership of IT decision-makers. The coveted CIO of the Year award was created to highlight Chief Information Officers and IT Directors who have demonstrated positive impact on their respective companies through the deployment of technology and the strong execution of a stellar IT strategy.
“This award perfectly reflects Gavin’s positive impact on the SmartDebit business and his leadership across a growing team, together with the successful delivery of a new product – Pulse®,” said Terry Jones, CEO at SmartDebit. “It’s great that his achievements and dedication can now be recognised by a broader audience.”
The winners will be announced on 13 September at a gala ceremony held in London.
